I like to think of myself as a very organized person. I’ve always perfectly planned and scheduled each event and had checklists to make sure I completed every task. Then we had our baby girl J and staying organized became a little more difficult, but I still managed. With the birth of our boy EĀ and the new business that consumed Ryan’s free time, things got quite a bit more unorganized. I never thought the addition of one item could keep me on track with family events, side hustles, and work.

The #1 Item to Keep My Life Organized
I am all about checklists and calendars, but I have never really combined the two…until now.
I introduce to you the LifePlanner..this book has been a lifesaver and the #1 one item I attribute to my daily sanity. Last December I ordered the Erin Condren LifePlanner and like most of my daily planners, it went more or less unused for months. It wasn’t until June that I decided to check out youtube and see how people actually use their LifePlanner.
Let me tell you this is a whole other world full of stickers, pens, and pouches. It can get a bit out of control. Each planner comes standard with a few appointment stickers, I chose to purchase a few additional stickers and went to work. I will admit, I went a little out of control at first. Eventually, I found my happy medium with stickers and have found planning to be fun and colorful.
What I love about the LifePlanner is there is a monthly view as well as a weekly view. For my weekly view and I chose the hourly format. I don’t actually use the hours, but find it gives me the space I need to layout my day and add a few stickers in between. I love that my Erin Condren LifePlanner has added the much-needed structure to my day that I was lacking. It is definitely the most valuable item I own to keep my life organized.
